![]() ![]() That second attempt leaves the camera active (LED is illuminated) even following a Ctrl-C, and I can only regain access to the camera (even for raspivid) by either rebooting or using modprobe to remove and re-add the v4l2 driver. Thanks for the suggestion sparkie - unfortunately I cannot use mplayer as the only way to bring that into OBS seems to be via a screen capture, and there will be multiple of these cameras (currently 4, looking to increase that), so there would be way too many windows open.įurther troubleshooting on accessing a v4l2 stream via cvlc revealed that the first time I open a v4l2:// steam, it spits massive amounts of SPS/PPS errors (stream can't be opened on the client), and the second time I get access denied. ![]() I did get it to run twice at 800圆00 30fps with only 300-400ms latency, but after 17min there was over 1000ms latency again. The steam freezes within a second of connecting, and I keep getting "avcodec error: more than 5 seconds of late video -> dropping frame (computer too slow ?)" even after disabling hardware acceleration (which is strange since 1080p is fine, but I guess that's what everything is tested for). Thanks for the tip pootle - unfortunately, VLC seems unable to cope with anything other than 1080p. ![]()
